"Su Negocio" Event Coming to NJ-Mark Your Calendar: 11/17 - FREE Financial Workshop
According to a survey conducted by the United States Census Bureau, there were over an estimated 3.3 million Hispanic-owned businesses nationally as of 2012, up from 2.3 million or (46.3 percent) from 2007. Hispanic firms owned by women accounted for approximately 78.7 million in estimated sales/receipts and Hispanic firms owned by men accounted for approximately $359 million in estimated sales/receipts.
With the number of Hispanic owned businesses continuing to be on the rise, it is more important than ever to understand how to best manage the financial side of your business.
That is why Mass Mutual Financial Group and the Hispanic National Bar Association started the HNBA/MassMutual "Su Negocio" Program.
I am excited for the opportunity to be a blogger covering the event and would love for all of you to stop by and join me - Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 5pm-9pm for a FREE Financial Workshop event at the lovely Westin Jersey City Newport Hotel & Resort located on 479 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310.
I am blessed to have had many opportunities either to attend/ speak at networking, mentoring, workshops, or conferences with other Latino-owned small business owners and always walk away learning something new.
At the event you will have the opportunity to listen to Lynn Ponder, Founder and Social Media/Digital Strategist of Web City Girls and Jaz Carvajal, Executive Director for the New Jersey Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Therefore, if you have recently started your own business, or have ever wondered:
How do I protect my business from the unexpected?
